Tu Thanh Dung is an associate professor and has 30 years of teaching and researching at the College of Aquaculture & Fisheries, Can Tho University. She completed her PhD in Veterinary Sciences at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ghent University, Belgium, in July 2010. Her main research activities focused on the surveillance of the causative agents, aquatic animal diseases and modified microorganism in the Mekong Delta.
Presently, she works on fish pathology, antimicrobial resistance in aquacultural systems, and develops vaccines against bacterial fish diseases. She has published more than 40 articles in refereed international and national journals.
