Biography

After receiving PhD at Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University, he participated in total 6 aquaculture projects of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) implemented in Bahrain, Kuwait and Indonesia where he researched fin-fish and crustacean diseases in tropical countries. Since 2004, he has been working at National Research Institute of Aquaculture, Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency to diagnose aquatic animal diseases on request from the prefectural government/experimental station in Japan.

He is in charge of the OIE reference laboratory of KHV and OIE twining project between Japan and Indonesia on KHV disease is currently in progress.
