Biography

Eran Bacharach is an Associate Professor at the Department of Cell Research and Immunology, School of Molecular Cell Biology & Biotechnology, Faculty of Life Sciences, Tel Aviv University, Israel. He graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (BSc, MSc and PhD) in Microbiology and preformed his post-doctoral research at the lab of Prof. Steve Goff, Columbia University, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, New York, USA. Main research interests include replication of RNA viruses; virion assembly; host-pathogen interactions – primarily at the cellular level; viral and cellular responses to interferons.
