Biography

Dewi is a researcher at IMRAD, Bali, Indonesia. Her current PhD research focuses on the development of cell cultures for growing crustacean viruses, funded by the Australian Development Scholarships. She won a Yamamoto Prize JIFRS and the UK-Singapore Research Collaboration Awards in 2006. She joined the ANNIMS internships in 2010. She was a panelist for Pre-departure briefing for ADS awardee and a participant of professional development activity (PDA) by the Australian Awards Indonesia in 2011.

During her PhD study, she won JCU student sustainability awards in 2014, completed three modules of JCU professional college in 2014, joined on-awards SAMUDRA-Skills in 2015, won Hadi Soesastro Prize in 2016; won HDRES JCU conference travel grant in 2016, joined the research communication skills training of Women in STEM, Brisbane in 2017 and won a student travel grant DAA10, Bali 2017.
